This page explains privacy considerations for DrinkWaterUSA tools and forms. It is a plain-language description, not legal advice. Site behavior can also depend on WordPress, its host, and enabled plugins.
Calculator inputs
The main water calculator processes the values you enter in your browser to display a result; it does not save those inputs as a DrinkWaterUSA account record. The Daily Water Tracker stores drink entries in local storage in the browser you are using so the current day’s log can be reopened on that device. Entries do not sync through this tool. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to see them. Clearing browser/site data or using a different browser may remove or separate the entries.
Other calculators operate on values you enter to show an on-page result. Do not enter sensitive health information into labels or fields. These tools are not designed to store medical records.
Contact and error-report forms
The Contact and Report an Error pages use WPForms Lite. The form asks for your name and email address; the message field is optional. By default, WPForms sends submissions by email to the WordPress site’s administrator email address. WPForms Lite does not ordinarily provide an entries list in the WordPress dashboard; form messages may remain in email inboxes and email delivery systems. Email delivery can fail or be filtered by the recipient’s provider. Do not submit medical records, passwords, financial information, or other sensitive personal data.
Technical information
WordPress hosting and security services may process technical request data, such as browser, device, or network information, to deliver and protect the site. The exact data, retention period, and any cookies or third-party services depend on configuration by the site’s host and installed services. This page does not make a blanket claim about every server log or cookie.
Your choices
You can clear local tracker entries using the tool’s clear control or by clearing the browser’s site data. You may choose not to use the contact form. If you have privacy questions, use the Contact page. Material policy changes will be noted in the Research and Updates Log.
