DrinkWaterUSA aims to make its calculators and guides usable by as many people as possible, including visitors using keyboards, screen readers, zoom, and mobile devices.
Current approach
Our tools use labeled form controls, text descriptions, visible result messages, and responsive layouts where implemented. We aim to use clear headings, readable contrast, and descriptive link text. Accessibility can vary across pages, browsers, assistive technologies, and theme updates.
Known limitation
A formal accessibility audit against WCAG has not been completed. We do not claim full conformance. Some interactive elements or older content may have barriers that we have not yet identified.
Report an accessibility issue
If a page is difficult to use, share the page address, the task you were trying to complete, and the device/browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable doing so. Please do not include sensitive personal information. Use the Report an Error form or the Contact form.
Ongoing work
We will review reported barriers and prioritize fixes that improve access to the site’s main tools and content. The Research and Updates Log may note material accessibility changes.
