Understand the estimate

The daily calculator uses a 30–40 mL/kg/day rule of thumb to show a rough range. It is not a clinically validated formula, a universal recommendation, or an individualized medical target.

Keep the result in context. The range is not a plain-water quota; food and other beverages contribute to total water intake. Follow qualified medical guidance if you have a health condition or a prescribed fluid limit.
